What If the Right Community Found You at Just the Right Time?
What If the Right Community Found You at Just the Right Time?
Sometimes the smallest doors open at the most unexpected moments.
Twelve years ago, I wasn’t looking for a business.
I was a single mom working as a waitress, trying to make ends meet and doing the best I could for my family. When someone introduced me to Mary Kay, I didn’t start because I had a big vision for building something.
I started because I felt something in my heart.
I loved the idea of encouraging other women and helping them see their beauty again. Not just the kind you see in the mirror, but the kind that shines from confidence, kindness, and purpose.
Over the years I’ve watched something beautiful happen.
Women sit down for a simple pampering session and begin to relax. They laugh. They talk. And somewhere along the way, something shifts. A woman looks in the mirror and says something I’ve heard hundreds of times:
“I forgot I was beautiful.”
Those moments never get old.
But something else has been growing in my heart recently.
I realized that what we’re creating isn’t just about skincare or makeup. It’s about community.
It’s about women encouraging one another, lifting each other up, and remembering who they are.
That’s why I’ve started gathering a small circle of women into something I call Glow & Grace.
Glow & Grace is a space for women who love beauty, encouragement, and community. Some join simply to enjoy the friendships and the fun. Others discover they enjoy sharing beauty tips and encouragement with other women.
And yes, for some women it becomes a way to earn a little extra income on their own schedule.
But what matters most to me is the culture.
Kindness.
Encouragement.
Supporting one another.
Celebrating each other’s wins.
The truth is, the women who thrive in this community aren’t necessarily the ones who know the most about makeup.
They are the women who love people.
They are encouragers.
They are women who want to grow, learn, and maybe even step into something new.
Maybe they want:
• more confidence
• more flexibility
• a little extra income
• a community of supportive women
• a place where they can encourage others
If that sounds like you, I’d love to invite you into a conversation.
This week I’m having a handful of Glow & Grace chats with women who are curious about what this community looks like and how they might be part of it.
No pressure.
Just a conversation.
Sometimes the right opportunity doesn’t show up as a job posting.
Sometimes it shows up as a community.
And sometimes it arrives at exactly the right moment in your life.
If you’re curious about Glow & Grace, I’d love to connect with you.
Because every woman deserves to be reminded that she was beautiful all along.
With encouragement,
Lynne
